Hi All,
Using the many dimensions, photos and drawings of the Airbus window, I have combined all the curves, angles, slopes and actual measurements to find the 'average' or 'common' within them all. I have come up with this very basic profile, although very simple, it comprises of 2 parts. The profile panel and window board panel. The idea of this very simple design is to make a template of the profile panel and cut from 12mm MDF. Then, add a 2" thick styrofoam and cut. Then by using the window board panel cutout, cut this from styrofoam and sandwich the 2 pieces together. With the window complete, you can angle the window, and then carve in any angles, you can then sand it, coat it, sand again, and then spray and lacquer.
I think this can be quite effective!
