Hi,

I am using a Saitek Throttle. This has got an axis for Thrust and a button (as prolonguation of the axis) for reverse thrust.
Until now I couldn't make use of this button, as the standard config tool just allowed me to configure the main axis for both, thrust and reverse.

Now I read about the option to assign reverse thrust to that button by using the "complex Joystick" option within Jeehell.

There's supposed to be a "complexjoy.dll" to do that.
Can anyone describe, where I find it and what exactly I need to do to realize it this way?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
I hope somebody is able to help as I have the same problem. I would like to use a Satiek A320 Quadrant template but they all have the Rev on the Joystick button. And I have not found the button in the advanced mode where the rev could be assigned. Regards
Martin

Reinstall the software, complexJoy is an option during install.

Thanks JL,

The whole software or just the client module?

can I save the current config with all my other axis and buttons before reinstalling

Thx

Installing takes about 2 minutes. I think you can afford losing about 2 minutes...
It does not overwrite configuration files.

Hi JL, also 2 hours would be worth it to have a nice throttle set up :)

Just to be sure: I just start the fmgs_B45.4.exe again without deinstalling anything before?

thx,
Michael

Hi JL, reinstallation was indeed easy!

Now I have both engines saved as complex Joy achsis with button for reverse. The test display shows the movement of the achsis, as it should be. But when it comes to configuring the detents in the FMGS Config window, nothing happens, when I select reverse.

What is irritating me: my TOGA value is 0, IDLE is 65535. Shouldn't IDLE be 0? Didn't find out, how to define IDLE 0 with the achsis in IDLE Position.

EDIT: I forgot to select the new "complexJoy" Axis within FMGS. Now it's working!

Thanks,
Michael
