Radar Contact and MCE

I have both Radar Contact and Multi Crew Experience, but have not tried them both together yet, but also have not installed them on the sim.

As yet JL has not implimented any flight plan setup , so I have been wondering if anyone has tried any flights with Radar Contact using a flight plan.

I had a thought that I could type in my flight plan into the MCDU ok and then type the same flight plan into FSX and therefore use that via Radar Contact, but not sure if that is possible.


Anyone that has tried something similar, any info would be great.

Hi Brian,

I am using Radar Contact together with JL and that's the way I do it:

- Plan a route using PFPX (which can export a flight plan into FS9 or FSX format, many others as well)
- Load exported PLN file into Radar Contact
- Enter route manually in MCDU

You can also use other tools to generate a FS PLN file of course. I think entering the route again manually in FS might be a bit tedious, especially if it's a longer flight.

Stefan, thank you very much. That will save me a lot of experimenting about wether or not it will work !

Will go ahead with the speech training of MCE now.
