View Full Version : List Of Third-Party Rudder Pedals, Yokes, TQs, etc...

As much as I'd like to build from-scratch rudder pedals/TQ, etc., I just don't have the time. And, I need a home cockpit sim for practicing air work prior to my annual check ride.

For that reason, I've attempted to find all third-party manufacturers of equipment. First, it's difficult doing web searches (due to the rather obscure nature of flight sim equipment), and second, there appear to be so many manufacturers.

Therefore, could we please start a list of such third-part manufacturers, so that users like me can shop-around more effectively? If anyone could kindly add to the list below, it would be much-appreciated!

I'm really liking the new OC rudder pedals. Looks like the real deal.

I have the Jetmax throttle on order.

Next purchase will either be the CP Flight MCP, or the FDS CDU. I heard the CP Flight EFIS is not to scale?

Everyone, thank you for posting. I'm having trouble seeing my original post in this thread, and I contacted the moderator to see if it's a problem on my end. Regardless, my intent is to continually edit my "list" at the beginning with your additions. That way, the list will be at the top of the thread. I'll do that as soon as I can see the original thread, again. Thanks!

Hi, and thank you to all who have contributed to this thread. I thought about listing prices, but I'm wondering if prices change, products change, etc... I didn't want to perform an "advertising service" for such manufacturers, but rather allow a simple list to enable users to choose on their own. What do others think... prices or no prices?

tiburon

I'd say no prices, you can easily visit the links to check them

OmniAtlas
10-26-2012, 06:22 PM
Well, I think prices are good so we can evaluate the products at its price point.

For example -- 737 CDU/FMC choices --

Flight Deck Solution CAD 999
Opencockpits EUR 437
Flyengravity EUR 999

This allows us to keep track of prices, and when they drop.

Thanks, everyone, for adding to the list. I'm amazed at how Google searches fail to bring-up a lot of these manufacturers. Hopefully, simmers will be able to utilize this list. I am amazed at how the number of yoke and rudder-pedal manufacturers are fairly small compared to the other categories.

OmniAtlas

Yes, pretty disappointing, especially in the Yoke department. Doesn't leave us with many options.

Heres one for Yokes --

Routech -- Routech - Flight Simulators (http://www.routech.ro/)

They make the yoke itself, but not the shaft. Looks very realistic.

Just got a reply from opencockpits, they will be developing the yokes after the pedals. Great!
