basically I am looking for some advice for

a generic mip I want to make. I want to have 8 rotorary push buttons and 25 push buttons and 3 toggle switches,

Non have to have lights or read FS9 or X in displaying LEDS, all switches will be very simple.

but the question lies in what PCB board I can use to accomodate these switches or over 2 boards or maybe I should look at creating a custom one?

Cheers
Philip

Hi pvjen1...I know a lot of people are going to recommend the Leo card (and you can't go wrong with it) and various other cards out there. I want to recommend the boards at Desktop Aviator. They will suit your needs and are generally less expensive. I too am making a simple cockpit so don't need the latest and greatest boards just something that will suit my needs. I emailed Desktop Aviator with my plans and they wrote back right away letting me know what they could provide that would work for me...along with pdf drawings to look at first. Not only that he even offered a deal off the list price. I especially like their response times which is super fast. I could imagine if you had any problems with setup of their boards they would respond right away. Do yourself a favour and at least check them out.
