Hello all.

I have taken the rather daring decision to do a skydive - all in aid of charity. This is a decision which i've taken recently as i want to 'do my bit' and fulfil a life ambition.

The charity i have chosen is the Yoskshire Air ambulance. The charity relies solely on donations from people like us. I've chosen to do a skydive from 3,500ft to raise as much money as possible in recognition for the excellent work these individuals do. Not only does the yorkshire air ambulance save lives, they transport patients with life threatening injuries into expert medical care specialising in their injury, across the county, in minutes. Not all patients can be reached as quickly and efficiently by land ambulance, and the cost of time has proven fatal.

They're ready to attend to any emergency at any time 365 days a year, lets allow them to continue doing this and please donate.

As one teenage accident victim said on being reunited with the crew who helped her "There is no doubt that Yorkshire Air Ambulance saved my life, I am so grateful it exists".

Donating just 5 would allow the Y.A.A to fly with medical experts for 1 more minute. Please show your encouragement and support by giving a donation - no matter how small.
"The yorkshire air ambulance saves lives; one day it could be yours"

I wanted to let you know here as some of you may wish to show encouragement and support of me and the charity by making a small donation. It doesn't need to be much, and all donations have the option of being anonymous and devalued (Donation amount hidden)

The charity is a worthwhile cause, so please if you have some spare change please consider donating. It's very simple and can be done through paypal or debit card - Using the website 'Just Giving' ensures your donations are passed straight onto the Yorkshire air ambulance.

Thankyou, and i will keep you all updated!

You can donate and read more here: http://www.justgiving.com/airambulanceyorkshire

Heres two short videos to see the work that these people do.

Great cause to be making the jump for!
Good luck with it - it's an experience you will never forget!

Where are you doing the jump?

Hi Mike

I wanted to do something sky related to my skydive. The yorkshire air ambulance seems like a logical choice.

I will be doing it from a small village very close to my house called Grindale.

All the best, thanks Mike :)
