I don't know where the photos originated from but a friend from Canada sent them to me.

A380 at Pearson Airport, Toronto.

Quite a machine and beautiful photos.

Awesome photos!

I'll be on the Emirates A380 this Sunday so I'll see if I can snatch a cockpit photo. They generally let you in once the plane is parked at the gate.

That would be FANTASTIC Lewis.... Can't see enough of those pics :) :) :) You lucky dog, able to see a A380 cockpit in person :) :) I look forward to those pics......

Sorry - wouldn't let me in. Something about regulations in Australia or something like that - didn't really make sense but was too tired to question it. Saw two A380s going there but saw five today which was great. Three Qantas and two Singapore.

To be honest (on a side note) whilst the business seats on the Emirates A380 were great, the service was below average. Well worth the trip to experience the A380 but I wouldn't detour my trip again like I did for this just to get on it.

Lewis, what did the flight 'fee' like? Was it like any other large airliner, or did it seem different in anyway? The largest Ive flown on was a 767 and an A330 so I wonder if it seems any different from a 'normal' heavy aircraft.

Into the cockpit at DXB, unlike Lewis, I was allowed into the cockpit in SYD, maybe its crew related?

Hi Eric,

It feels huge, gigantic - especially when you are over the wing. You don't really feel much when you take off, and you hear next to nothing. It's great if it's the plane that takes you to your destination directly, but I wouldn't do a detour to ride on it again.
