Hi
i am going to start to build a 320 cockpit not to exact spec but suite my needs ie
I want to go from cold cockpit to shut down without using mouse or keyboard.
as I have relatively no experiance in this I am going to start by trying first to
build the engine start module and have no idea of where to source parts or software required.
i hope this is where you the experts come in
Kind regards
Darren
ps
I have found the Universal Joystick Controller BU0836X is this the best way for connection to pc

Hi Never2old,

Sioc from opencockpits works for me, but I'm in the beginning of
learning process of how an Airbus works ;)

Maby we could make a deal ?
- If I can learn the coldboot procedure of the A320 from you,
- I would love to write the sioc scripts for it.

for learning the sioc syntax you can have a look at Nico Kaan his site:

Hi guys,
I am in the middle (middle of the beginning) of an A320/330 build. If I can be of any help (and reap a benefit or two) let me know! And feel free to visit my site too!

Nigel.

Hi
Thanks for the replies
Flat land pilot will be happy to run through the start from cold sequencie
with you I am using the wilco series a320.

Nigel would be great for your ideas please I need to source some switches
ie two toggle and one 3 way rotary for the engine start.

Also I have an idea for flaps lever so will also need a 5 position rotary switch if this works it can be incorparated into the landing gear etc.

i have seen plenty on
http://www.maplin.co.uk/
but dont know which ones are suited.
I will be buying the BU0836X board.

Regards Darren
