Hi roberto,

I got two questions about the rudder pedals.
Are the capt/FO rudder pedals interconnected? I mean, when one of the two presses one
of the pedals, do the other sides pedals also move? Or do they work independant like the
sidesticks?
Each pilot can adjust the pedals for his own length, how is this done? How far can they be adjusted?

Thanks Peter

Hello,

I donīt know if the are connected, but to adjust them you pull the little black handle and they slide back and forward with a number scale.

Here is an image of the handle, with "PULL to adjust pedals" writen on it:

Hi Peter, Since I've got the real ones for my cockpit..... yes, they are connected, except the brakes work independent.

Yes sir the pedal on the Airbus are interconnected! There are the only flight controls that are interconnected! When you make the Flight controls check each one of us checks it's sidestick for movement and both pilots put their feet on hte pedals but only the Pilot Flying moves them ! And yes they are adjusted with that black lever shown in the picture you Pull it and the pedals move towards you since I am not that tall I used them in position 3!

You basically pull the thing the pedals come towards you so they return to 0 position you push them with your feet move them to the desire position and you let go the black handle and they syat in position!

Roberto

Hi Roberto,

many thanks for the answer.
It is working as I expected but I needed confirmation.
If you could indicate to me how much they can move backwards from the 0 position?
