In terms of size where do you get 5"? On the product webpage they quote:

Frame Dimensions: 1.35x1.58"
Active Display Dimensions: 1.2"x1.2"

which is no where near 5".

Psone's 5" TFT Monitor is the best solution, connected with VGA's TV-out.
Check at Parts to Sell http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?p=92652#post92652 , i'm selling one only for 50euros

There is also a vary nice tutorial at FlightDeckSolution's site here http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/_assets/tutorials/31.zip how to disassembly a Psone monitor

Hi guys,

Unfortunately these are not the right kind of screen that you are after. They are a colour graphic LCDs that are used in mobile phones or to interface to microprocessors. Unless you were thinking of building a custom FMS, a la FlyEngravity?... Otherwise you'd want some kind of 'VGA' LCD like the PSONE screens.

HTH

PS: Nice link to the PSONE tutorial, I must dig mine out at some point.
