A very basic FSUIPC Offsets question.

I´m looking for the In/HPa Offset.
Havn't found it in my Offset list but I just might have missed it. Gone through the list a couple of times though.

We use PMRJ software.

Also for the STD function we simply use the B button on the keyboard dut thats not really correct cause pressing B sets tha actual pressure, not standard pressure.
Correct me if I'm wrong!!

Any FSUIPC Offset for "true" STD-function??

Best Regards

I´m looking for the In/HPa Offset.

There isn't one. That switch merely controls what the gauge displays locally and there's no internal value controlling it. The gauge does the conversion when doing the display.

In FS pressing B sets the QNH below 18000 feet and STD above, as it assumes you are flying in North America where the Transition Altitude is 18000.

To set STD you have to set the QNH to the standard pressure which is 29.92" or 1013 hPA.

No. Just write the correct value (16211 is I think the most accurate value in FS's units) to the altimeter setting at 0330.

Works perfectly ! :D

For those (like me) who does not understand FSUIPC all the way:

This is what I wrote in FSUIPC to get it to work:

After writing "x0330" in the Offset window and "16211" in the Parameter window and after clicking "OK"..
FSUIPC converts "16211" to "x3F53" as you see in the pict.

I know how to use FSUIPC Offset toggle bits. :D
and now a little off how FSUIPC Offset word set works... )

I am reading and reading Pete´s documents but I find it difficult ( maybe my English understanding is too bad )

So if anyone have some good examples how to use the different offset options in FSUIPC (like the one Peter Dowson posted)
I would be very happy.
