HI guys :) I've been away for awhile and making a few decisions. Im going ahead with the 767-300 using level D for my sim project. Ive been umming and arring about a sim for too long and now its time to just start it! I'm a fulltime commercial seaplane pilot and recently have been given access to the engineering hangar with tools and old scrap (aluminium) etc. Talk about a gift from above! So In an afternoon over a sandwich I knocked up a pretty good working 767 gear lever with the help of the Kennair website. I was always thinking could I build my own stuff but never tried, so a big thankyou to Ken Brand you were an inspiration!! So now there is no stopping me. Haha well maybe..I have hit a bit of a snag with Level D 767 gauges. I obviously want what most simmers want and that is captains primary display, engine display and fo's display on 3 seperate monitors. How do most setup their gauges on their screens? I have manipulated panels before with FS Panel Studio but when I try this with the Level D, flightsim 2004 crashes when I attempt to load it. Im not sure if its me, a bug in the system or a common problem i'm not aware of. I will eventually get The TH2go but if I would like to be able to see that I can have the gauges where I want then on the screen first before I tackle my MIP. Any help here guys would be appreciated. I have searched the forums for this same problem but couldnt find any threads about the 767 anyhoo.

Thanks in advance for any help on this matter.
Happy simming!

Hello there,
Good choice with the level D :)
Are you using FSX or FS9 ?

Anyway, it's possible to take apart the levelD panels,
but you need to be careful.
some of the gauges must be part of the panel, but they can be hiden.
We have a group of builders on Yahoo groups.
There we have lots of builders from all over the world,
with lots of info and help on building a 76 pit.
Also we have on the file section panel.cfg ready for what you need ;)
to register b767homecockpitbuilders-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Good luck with the building.

I would like to know more about this as I need to lift out the 767 NAV gauge in FSX onto a separate monitor. I am using fsxpand but the NAV screen in that does not display waypoints etc.

Any help offered, much appreciated as I am getting desperate to find a way to do this.

best regards
Richard

You need to have FSX in Windowed mode.
They you can right click and undock the panel and move it.
In the B767 yahoo group you can find more details and a panel.cfg
for FSX with 3 panels ready for the MIP.
You just have to tweak the final position of the gauges.
