Well I have to beat alexpilot2008 to the story!! SWA 737 N357SW landed at MCO yesterday around 1130 am flight 3238 from St. Louis to Orlando declared an emergency after an APU Fire warning light illuminated. The pilot popped the bottle and landed shortly. Your lead reporter was on the scene as the aircraft rolled to a stop. I did not see any signs of a fire, but the pilot requested that the passengers de-plane via air stairs rather than the slides. The plane was cleaned and cleared to leave several hours later. I had to take a perimeter for a little while, and of course the one day I did not bring a zoom lens.
Photos show ARF rollong up and the plane de-planing
