Can anyone point me to a source for a real (or realish) Cessna-172-style trim wheel (wheel only, no electronics needed). I looked at aircraft spruce but couldn't see anything there.

Most maintenance workshop at local airports have scrap parts like that, trim wheels, throttle knobs, fuel levers etc...worth checking...

I made mine from scratch out of MDF, it's so easy.

I have just drawn a rough guide on MS Paint for you to have a look at!

Its very brief but you will get the point!

I found my c-172 trim wheel on ebay and used Desktopaviator.com trim wheel kit. http://www.desktopaviator.com/Products/Retrofit_Trim/index.htm
