captains, good day......
i got a mail from leo bodnar today, introducing me to the ELMA E37 series of dual rotary encoder which he is very enthusiastic about (and we can get in europe, in fact leo will be offering them on his website when they have manufactured his order).
here's the data sheet.....
http://www.elma.com/Admin/ProductionFiles1/ProductTypeFile/841/English/10%20Dual%20Concentric%20Encoder%20Type%20E37.pdf
from what leo tells me the E37 has a threaded collar (the alps does not) and can be fitted like any other switch/rotary etc., it has a push to make switch and rotational life is 20 times that of the alps and they are available in a choice of detents.
this makes them 'very useable'.
so my question is, does anyone have any experience with the E37 encoders before i part with my money :o))
thanks chaps for your input if you have any......
have a great weekend and regards from wales... ian
