I have read thru the forums here and on other FS sites looking for info on illuminated pushbuttons for panels. I wanted ask if anyone has suggestions on the preferred pushbuttons for things like FCU and EFIS panels? I have some on a prototype FCU panel I am building, but they are square and have small lamps instead of LEDs. The cap is removable, so a paper legend could be inserted, but too small for anything but a cursory mnemonic. EXPED would have to be printed as EX.

Any info would be great, thanks!

Buddy,
Maybe something like FDS builds in their AN1 annunciators? link to the picture http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/_assets/images/products/502-large.jpg I don't know what the cost would be but I would think they could do what you need.

Thanks for the replies guys! I was looking for those nice rectangular switches with the LEDs in them, and the caps that can be engraved, or have the caps that come off so you can insert a printed label in them.

If you look at the cockpitsonic FCU panel it comes with the sort of pushbuttons I am trying to find.

Thanks,

Buddy
