I found those pictures of how to build a Gear-level arm on Flightsim.no. The Gear-level arm is designed and made by Trygve Alvestad who is building a B-737 cockpit. His goal is to make the cockpit as realistic and flyable as possible, for his needs without costing him a fortune.

The text is in Norwegian, so if needed I will translate it, but hopefully the pictures speak a bit for themselves.
By the way, I find this a great forum in all ways. Here people meet from all over the world and share their interests in flight-deck building. I myself live on an island on the westcoast of Norway.

Good news. I just had a mail from Trygve telling he is having his homepage written in english. He is also writing a gear-level arm tutorial. At the time he is working on a low-cost throttle quadrant that is going to be an easy-to-build. Will be back with more.

That would be great, maybe he can write it as a tutorial and we can make a PDF of it and post it at IFSBI if he agrees.

Trygve’s home-page http://home.online.no/~t-alves/bilder.cfm has been updated and and it seems like Christmas is getting closer. He has done a great job trying to help fellow simbuilders all over, so thanks a lot Trygve for your efforts in sharing your work with us.
