It's the connection with the computer.

This unit is the RS232 version as opposed to USB.

Isn't CP Flight the company that requires all of their products to interface through the MCP?

Or am I thinking of another brand?

That is correct Michael.


Note: NAV737 is an expansion modules and require MCP737 to operate.
Note: COM737 is an expansion modules and require MCP737 to operate.

Or the BLKbox which costs only 95 euros.

With this card you can use the cpflight add on modules without the need of their mcp.

The site said "out of stock" so I wasn't sure if they carried them any longer.

It has never been listed in the products list, but is listed on the purchase page, so easy to overlook.

I think its available for over a year now.

Its a great and cheap way to use what i consider to be the best radios around.
