hi steve....
i was looking at this and smiling.... 'another bedroom let', doesn't really have a ring to it does it :o))
couple of things came to mind....if i had $50,000 to spend, i'm sure i could find more fun things to spend it on (like a 2nd hand AUDI R8 , APOLLO 11 or 500 gallons of beer :o)) ).
are those ejection seats ?
have a great evening..... ian

Well Guys, if you take into consideration what the hydraulic platform would cost you alone, this may not be such a bad deal.

Although, on the other hand. The gallons of beer, may be more appealing :)

Then again £25k gets you a lot of real world aircraft ... not that if I had it spare I wouldn't be bidding ;)

Whilst you cannot see very much of the hydraulics and platform, what is discernable is a lot of very heavy metalwork and a very large pitch/heave actuator. I guess this is not one for the "spare bedroom".

The price is very much over the top when one considers the age of the technology, support issues etc. benchmarked against what is currently available for self assembly in the market place today.

Thank you Steve for bringing this one to our attention as it it is good to know what is out there.

I guess you have inspired me to visit our local aircraft breakers yard to find out what is currently available!

Bill.

Hey Trevor,

I've eaten moose, elk, kangaroo, buffalo, and bear, but I have never drank " gallons of bear, may be more appealing". What kind of aroma does it have, does it leave a bitter after taste?
