Im working on the 787 MIP today and I am happy that it is probably the most simple since there are no angles to it and it is almost a rectangle. Question is regarding the display frames, what do you think is right?

Mock-up pics, simulator pics and pics of all the renderings show the second frame which is basically just a frame. The other one I did was a wider version of what is on the 777.

Which do you prefer and why? I know that I will eventually opt for the ones that are on the actual plane but I'm interested in seeing the opinions between the two.
