Hello !
i use the 737 fly engravity CDU with Project Magenta CDU and i notice some differences between the Harware screen and the PM on the monitor.
1- 1 cannot see the meessages in the fly engravity CDU
2-while in flights, the execute light won't light up
3-message light won't close
So up to now i cannot only use the Fly engravity CDU 1 always have to double check with the screen of PM

You have to go into the cdu.ini file and turn on messages and execute light there.

Hello Ivar

In the CDU.ini message=on and effectively they are seen on the PM screen on monitor but not in the CDU engravuty screen.
Do you mean adding something to the cdu.ini ?

Sorry, then I dont know what could be the case here. I have FDS cdu, but guess it should work exactly as engravity cdu.

And all I did was to set message on and if I remember correct, Some line about lights on;)

I have the same problem.
I also noticed that the hardware from engravity has difficulties to refresh what lies below the dashed line.

Me too :(
I was afraid that there was a problem with EXEC led, but it has to do with PM's sw

Hi Eddie,
I just posted a reminder in the magenta support box. It looks like they know about the problem but since build 400 nothing happened. Do you also have refresh display problems in the engravity CDU ? In my setup, there are sometimes differences between the software and the hardware screens.

Yes sometimes i can see that the refresh rate is too low, like old bank's green monitors in 1970s :p

I don't know about it, as i always had the CDU minimized.

yeah, but that's not really a problem - 737's are old machines anyway ...

could you check this ? the differences are below the dashed line and affect the LSK 6L/6R menu access information. By pressing EXEC or entering SP in the scratchpad the correct information displays. It's not very annoying but I would be happy to know if it's a magenta bug or if I have an USB communication problem. Just to save time for other tasks :D

Many thanks in advance for your feedback !

Stéphane
