Hi from a retired Brit living in Spain. Building a 737NG. Started early 2007 but making a slow start. Should have had MIP built months ago but let down by a panel manufacturer who is no longer interested in building for the enthusiastic home builder.

Hope to make better progress this year once I decide where my MIP will come from.

I should have gone to Lelysted last November, will definately go this year.

Best wishes to all the world's sim builders. We are a unique and crazy buch of dreamers

Best wishes from Ciudad Quesada

Peter Wilshire

Hi Peter. Welcome to Mycockpit.org. We don't have many Brit's in the mix, especially ones from Spain.

Many builders here have good experience with Mips and suppliers of such. Hopefully we can help you on your journey.

Looking forward to seeing more of you around the forum.

Best regards,

Hi Peter to the mad and crazy world of Flight simming.

Look forward to some posts of your cockpit and hope that it will take your mind off retirement. I enjoy the building of my sim which has been in progress for the past 4 years...:p wow has it been that long when I first started it....from a plywood prototype to the existing one of B737NG using the engravity panels.

I missed the Lelysted meet last year as well as I had a business meeting around the same time. I definetly will make it a point to go this year. You see, I work for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines here in Kuala Lumpur and can get onboard the plane to Amsterdam...if the flights are not full....the hassle of being on standby when travelling on staff rebate..:(

Hope to meet most of you guys going to the meet..

Cheers

Chris
