Hi every one . I have been arround flight simulator cence it started I am 52 years old I have always wanted to get my pilots licence but I never have had the money to do so. It has always been out of my reach. too many kids I think. I have always injoyed flightsimulator you guys are sure doing some great stuff with your cockpits. I have been looking at some of the pictures and I like what I see. I am a computer tech so computers are no problem for me . I say too many kids because my wife and I have raised 7 of them and they have always come first. As far as flying go's I always find time to fly my sim for a good 2 to 3 hours a night I look foward to talking to you about this fantastic hobby:D

I wish I had the room to build one. I have thought about it for some time now but havent figured out a space yet. some of the stuff you guys are building looks so real I haven't figured out what cockpit I would like to build . jets are cool but I also like the old ww2 bombers like the B-17 and the b-29s. Has there been any body build a n old bomber simpit?:D

Not that I've ever heard of, though a couple here have a military jet.

The biggest challenge to building something like that is finding a good FS flight model to base the sim on. Instruments for a vintage bomber would be easy with what's on the market now.

Welcome to the fold.

I too love the old warbirds. I have always thought of building the B-25. If you decide to go with a warbird I would highly recomend MAAM (http://www.maam.org/maam_sim.html) or Shockwave productions (http://www.shockwaveproductions.com/) for the flight models I own planes from both places and they are well worth the money.

It looks like you're all set as soon as you find some room for your sim.
