Would like to buy a kit for the Airbus MCDU.
Only need panel and keyboard, no monitor and no electronics.

Where can I find it ?

Regards.
Pedro

Well Pedro, I honestly do not think one is available at this time. I am not aware of anyone making this product. :|

Thanks Bob, I've done some research and I think you're right.

I think will have to do it myself.

It's a real shame, it seems the Airbus has gotten a back seat regarding production of parts. :(

Hopefully someone will come along and start building Airbus parts again.

I thought CSI did these for $670

Maybe not any more?

I was e-mailing with Peter Cos from Flightdeck solutions and
he said as soon as they complete huge amount of customer orders they get back to the production developement line. They will make a plug&play MCDU for airbus.

Like I said, us Airbus'ers we're at the back seat, bottom of the list, we'll get to you when ever :( :(

Sounds like a great opportunity to open up an airbus parts shop :)

Oh well, just dreaming, I guess :)

FDS have brought out the Airbus MCDU.

From FDS

"The MCDU is 5.79” wide and 9.1” in length.

This is the actual footprint.

The interface for the new unit is far more complex and will be PM and AST “Ready”.

We are not going the route of the keyboard encoder (can if required but we are sticking to “Direct communication” via DLLs). "

Also, Manuel Hdez-Peña at Hispapanels is planning an Airbus version of his CDU kit. Might be interesting...
